@arcifer where do you think these hundreds of thousands supposed new players will be at for first 6 months, every tried to kill a cow on 1 of 4 worlds while this supposed hundreds of thousands of old players that quit are trying to kill said cow :D Or one of the 12 hill giants :D

Okay I'm sorry but currently we don't have enough people to even make the 250k marker. we have roughtly 60k ppl on, I mean I'm not trying to be negative and I respect EVERYONES opinion. I cancelled my membership but I have a few days left so I'll give it a go yet it just seems too odd to me. Mems is $10 USD x a min of 250k accounts is like 2.5million dollars. Looks too much like a money maker and besides most people that quit already left to start on other servers and games, heck I asked all my friends and they all said no that its not worth it anymore. Sad, yes but hey thats life I suppose. Yes its the first day but if you let f2p people do it if you are in it for money you'll make more off making sure enough people can vote to pass it through. I stay with rs until the results come in and the best of luck voting everyone.

Everyone starts out fresh and if "discontinued tradeable" items were able to be traded into the 2007 server then that absolutely defeats the whole purpose of "starting out fresh." Jagex can keep their discontinued items. I just want a new "old" game to play where I can have turn based combat with npcs or players and have everyone working towards the same goal with me as a community so that I can have fun like I used to back in 2005-2008.

According to your definition of viable, I think that it would only take like a month or two for the die hard fans of the game to get ample resources gathered together and build an economy. As for the enjoyable part of the viable aspect, THAT STARTS WHENEVER I LOG IN =)

If everyone didn't vote, what would happen?
Jagex still needs the players back, do they not?

They should be offering this up, for

Maybe, a month or so, just because they are really trying to gain back the respect, and
want to bring back the customers.
Jagex, and the players could then see the outcome as a community- that sounds fair to me.

People should not pay to vote, as the last vote was rigged, and i'm sure this 1 will be as well.
Players have issues with the state of the game, and have reason to distrust, because of past behaviors.

That would be a good start, don't you think?
