If you didn't play in 2007 and you're skeptical about everything, give it a shot. A lot of people are saying "pre eoc 2011/2012 servers would be better but..." , However they weren't around in the 2007 days, the community was strong, and will again be strong given that we have to build our own economy from scratch. It will be a task, but an adventure far more encompassing than going to bandos and killing it 100 times in 2 hours hoping to get 1 drop. Jagex slowly made this game convenient for the lazy, probably too convenient. They narrowed the gap from people with skill gained from practice to random people with no practice. Ex; Dragon claws, click spec bar twice and they will most likely die or have to combo eat to survive. Also doesn't it seem sad that skills such as runecrafting (before even runespan) were maxed fastest by farming effigies all day and no actually CRAFTING runes. Sure there will be problems, but Jagex is run by people and people aren't flawless. The amount to gain from giving this a shot will be overwhelming compared to all of the development efforts of the eoc which was supposed to bring in a whole new player base, which has only really lose old players and attracted a fraction of what was lost in new players.
