If this happens I'll actually start playing again. This game has been garbage since it sold out to the investors. But kudos to the Gowers for creating what used to be such an amazing game. Still bitter about Sailing not passing

If you didn't play in 2007 and you're skeptical about everything, give it a shot. A lot of people are saying "pre eoc 2011/2012 servers would be better but..." , However they weren't around in the 2007 days, the community was strong, and will again be strong given that we have to build our own economy from scratch. It will be a task, but an adventure far more encompassing than going to bandos and killing it 100 times in 2 hours hoping to get 1 drop. Jagex slowly made this game convenient for the lazy, probably too convenient. They narrowed the gap from people with skill gained from practice to random people with no practice. Ex; Dragon claws, click spec bar twice and they will most likely die or have to combo eat to survive. Also doesn't it seem sad that skills such as runecrafting (before even runespan) were maxed fastest by farming effigies all day and no actually CRAFTING runes. Sure there will be problems, but Jagex is run by people and people aren't flawless. The amount to gain from giving this a shot will be overwhelming compared to all of the development efforts of the eoc which was supposed to bring in a whole new player base, which has only really lose old players and attracted a fraction of what was lost in new players.

All I can say is,

Learn to read Gerhardese.

*sigh* You will see, soon enough. And obviously you have no idea what it would take in terms of costs to set up old servers, and keep them maintained and updated, as the announcement stated.

As I said, on page 1290, the clever bit is, it doesn't matter whether we abstain or vote for it; it's going to happen, with just enough "interest" for a nice price hike on members.

I loved 2007 Rs too. Thing is, it's over. Six years over in fact. You can't go back. But you will learn THAT soon enough as well.

@m a r i s a,

The majority of the f2p players on this forum are former members that quit because they didn't like how the game was going. Now they are voicing thier opinions on the 2007 RS possible comeback. So they are not leeching off of you in any way, shape, or form. They will probably resubscribe if this goes through. So stop screaming at the f2p and make your point already.
