I for one, believe that this is amazing. I just have one issue with it.

My issue is that near the end of December I purchased one of the premier membership packages, specifically the Gold level. I, as many who did the same probably are, am wondering if in the case that we only get to either the first or the second goal, what will this mean for our current membership status? Will we have to pay every month in order to use the 2007 version of the game, or will our one year membership cover us and allow us to play on it? Please inform us of what this would mean to us. Thank you.

I am so tired of explaining this so I'm going to give you the tl;dr

If accounts get transferred over, economy is ruined and then the game dies in 7 months or less

If rares are implemented into the game...
Seen it first hand. The game is centralized around rares and people could really give rats ass about actual functioning items and the game is far less enjoyable. (That's just because you didn't have rares!#@#!) No, I did actually. I had many rares. I lost interest in the game when it started to get centralized around rares... As explained above.

Alright so lots of posts to go through, sorry if this was already asked but it would be impossible to sort through all the posts.

If I vote yes because I do think that others deserve to have what they wish for; Would I be required to pay the additional 07 server fees even though I have no intention of playing on those servers?

I would hate for my membership fees to increase as I wouldnt be able to afford it and like other mmos, id end up quitting due to costs.

How many will unsub and walk away if it doesn't hit 500k? Jagex is getting a burst of income right now so they don't care. They are probably hoping it will only hit 50k which is realistic and probably their plan. (membership + $15)

The way they are going about this, feels like a small bandaid on a very huge wound thats not going to hold.

Firing up old school servers and saying members only sounds like a long time stream of income. No need for a vote, just do it and profit. Sorry cancelled my mems because of EOC and I will not have a say in this. But Jagex, email me when something before EOC at 11/19/12 prices become available.

@M a r i s a

"anyone with a total level under 2000 is a noob"

Shut up, botter. LOL.

You probably didn't even play in the golden era. I've played this game for many years, my total is only a bit above 1600. Does that make me a noob? The fact that I have spent most of my time ENJOYING the game instead of botting for some quick stats and flower hosting for some quick money? No. Don't call people with low stats noobs, because some of them have probably played much longer than you have.

"I guess I'm one of few old school long term players, never cheated never scammed never bought my way up just played, you will find me in game, maybe I won't find you as you get banned ; )"

im one of the old school players but as I said, I quit to protest the sof and the lack of bot protections and such. Jagex lied to us, including a fake poll to see if people wanted the wild/free trade back. I refused to pay for the game with those lies behind them, and even refuse to go to f2p because it helps them with their ad revenues. Its a matter of principles for me. Do you understand what that means. I had to give up something I loved because my principles wouldnt allow me to support them.

If they bring this back, then they will be going back on the lies they told, basically saying they were wrong, and I can support that.
frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.
