Its probably a bit late now, but it would have been nice to compile a list of updates from AFTER 10-Aug-2007 so that everyone would have a better idea of just what the RS2 servers would / wouldn't include BEFORE they voted. Veterans are unlikely to remember when every update was released, and new players wouldn't know either. The news posts can only be navigated by 5-page increments at a time starting at one end or the other (not to mention the newspost dates were removed some time ago :@ ), and the RSwiki entries for yearly update summaries contain no information.

I will not be voting, as I am a career non-member. If the 2007 servers become available with free access to the f2p portions, I will definitely try them out. The biggest attraction 2007 servers would have for me is the older graphics (I don't particularly care for the new Robocop armor, nor the pasta strainer/trainwreck weaponry; its too far from Runescape's 'medieval' heritage). I doubt I would ever play the 10-August-2007 servers very much, as they will be extremely vulnerable to botting. I suspect that if this idea goes forward, most of the players on the 2007 servers will be there for pking.

The idea seems cool, but it's kind of annoying with all these people saying "Bring back 20(any number but 07 here) runescape...they already explained why that wouldn't work and that a majority of people wanted that year; they also said they wouldn't stop updating the current EoC version of RS, so just be happy or indifferent, not angry.

I was very excited when i first heard about the possible return of runescape,however after reading about it ..the vote doesnt matter... mentioned as listening to their paying loyal members..

The catch roll back of accounts to all level1 skills: are you serious..why would anyone in thier right mind that has played 5-6 years throw away all the levels they earned..
It would be no different than starting a new game......

Again jagex has shown they have no understanding of thier loyal playing community
