I'm all for going back to 2007, but I just don't trust jagex to do it correctly. What should be done is Jagex should have purchased 2006 scape and let them run it. They would have done it correctly. I mean seriously, Jagex is simply problematic at many levels.

I don't think that will be the main effect.

(1). Many, if not most, of the players who play the 2007 version will play the 2013 version, too.

(2). It will bring back members who have left who wouldn't be playing 2013 anyway.

Because there will be more options, the total player base will increase.

I got a question, first, would this be replacing the most updated version of runescape?

Ok if it is, i myself did have some good times in old school runescape, but i really love a lot of the updates that have taken place since then, a bunch of people are going to say, "oh i want it to go back to 2007, then when it does, they will be unhappy because they are missing a bunch of good items. So if this is not already what you planned on doing, have a separate 2007 one. That should cover everone's worries/concerns. "Nothing is true, everything is permitted"

WORST idea ever.. I been with this company since the begining. I did not like the RUNESCAPE 3D version, and everyone wanted to stay with CLASSIC. I remember the beta for it. But over time appericated RUNESCAPE 3D. and I do not like EOC but I bet over time they going to make EOC fit RuneScape. I dont think its fair that people that want the old RuneScape get to start fresh, and the main game gets suck with rare items and all the other crap. Hate me if you want, but games like this have to change, and i see all verisons of runescape and they all get better.
