So, So excited for this update! 2 Things that would be a great addition to the servers would be Godwars and a good bot catching system.

I've had so many get times at godwars and it was a big deal right when it came out. It will be amazing to see everyone starting from scratch trying to earn bandos items! From a pkers point of view the Ags would be an amazing addition to the servers.

The bot watching system has to be well done, because bots can and will ruin the Rs economy, as they did in the EOC. Green dragons are a perfect example! Bots have been at them for years and years and the prices are in the toilet.

Just my input...But I truly thank you Jagex for thinking about the players.

As for rare introduction into the new game, I think it should be like it was all those years ago.

I have been playing since 2004, and I have always wondered exactly how the events went when they where introduced. Just a thought, because Runescape just isn't the same without it's discontinued items.

I've been playing for a long time, and I mean a long time! (2004) not on this account but on my other account Cam2469, and boy oh boy I was young then. This will bring back lots of good memories!! seriously Jagex this will be the best update ALLTIME update you've ever done! I was actually contemplating on quitting recently because of the latest updates but man you've got my support and I mean that.

I think this is a fantastic idea. I am a veteran player (as in since about 2002-3) who has taken quite a few years off the game and have just come back recently. I don't hate EOC but its just not the game I loved anymore. I really really hope this idea goes through.

I truly applaud Jagex for listening to the community and being prepared to make changes and introduce new content based on our comments.

I have one question though: Jagex have you considered making membership for the old school servers a separate cost? where membership to the EOC servers costs 'x' amount and old school servers cost 'x' amount and perhaps if you pay for both memberships you save a little eg. $10 for each or $15 for both (my currency is a little different so not sure exactly what numbers to use but that is just an example)

In agreement with many other people posting here, it will be very hard restarting everything from level3 again. Many people, as well as myself, are from the old RuneScape, and with that we are older as people now as well. Being in college, working, and family life will hinder us from committing massive amounts of hours AGAIN to achieve goals that we have already met.

In my opinion, if Jagex can, they should try and retrieve an old screenshot of the highscores of the 8/10/07 RS and base how we start of, on how our stats were back then.

For ex.
there could be 5 tiers(different ways) of starting in the old Rs based upon your previous stats. If you were a pure noob back then then start them of at the very beginning again. If you were a much higher level, almost maxxed combat stats perhaps, leave that all of group of at perhaps 120cb? In this case, it is MOSTLY fair for all of those who worked hard. Also, a mid level player (perhaps 80cb?) will start around that range, with an average ammount of stats, so all players divided into 4 or 5 tiers based on previous stats at the time, and everyone in their tier will start with the same stats?
