i only have 2 things to say. thank you soooo much for giving us all the option to go back in time to the game all of us veterans know and love so much!! however i would like to ask if it would be possible to have our current stats in the skills that existed in 2007 to be transfered to the old school servers? whether it would be something that would be free to do our would have to have a cost to do i think this is something that alot of people would agree with me on. i know that i personally love the idea of being able to go back to the old rs but dont really know about having to start all over in the game from level 1 in every thing again. we have all put many hours of work into our accounts and im sure there is other people that would feel the same way as me. so please just take it into consideration. :)

I'm thrilled by this news, but why does it have to be 2007? That's a huge step backwards considering most of the people who are quitting are doing so mainly because of the EoC. Why can't it just be servers with the game how it was just before the EoC update? I'm not sure if it's some cocky response insinuating that we hate all RuneScape updates or can't accept change, because from what I've seen most people play because of constant updates like new quests, armor, weapons, minigames, etc. Example of good content would be Player owned Ports, even though it needs some fixing and tweaking. Bad content is typically things that either take things away from the game, change the mechanics drastically, or make something that people worked really hard for become suddenly useless or obsolete.

With that said, I'll definitely be voting because I'd prefer 2007 over the EoC anyday. It could be better, meaning you let us have servers of the game just before the EoC so it's like this nightmare never happened to us, but I will not be ungrateful... Even though I'm a paying customer. O_o

I know a lot of people willing to return to play this old game. Open it up to the members who have held membership within the last 6 months to one year. Many people, like myself, hate the EOC and would never help fund it. Too many of us never voted for it and few even played the Beta when it was out. I don't understand why the people who didn't want the EOC are excluded from this decision when it affects scores of nonmembers who have recently canceled. You have destroyed the community of this game and you don't DESERVE those members back that you lost. If you don't fix your mistake you will lose money in the short-term and long-term outlooks.

Realize that you've made a mistake before you lose so many of us loyal members who enjoyed the old combat system. However, I'd expect nothing less than a skewed poll and even worse results. I'm not giving Jagex another dime until I see this update come to fruition. If it doesn't, you've lost another customer along with countless others.
