Also you would hire new developers to do this instead of hiring new developers for the current game where there is so much outdated stuff. Trouble brewing has been needing updated for years and these forums are so old it's ridiculous.

Jagex, I am astounded at the immense entertainment your game "RuneScape" has provided me over these many years. I have experienced many of the updates and by far my favorite is the -Main Game- E.O.C & graphical improvements. Jagex as a business and a company provides care to entail to the other players whom are wanting to play in the old-school days. While still continuing to excel onward into the future of RuneScape and MMORPG gaming so that many (NEW) players will join the official version of the ever improving RuneScape. Jagex staff continue in moving forward please.

I do like the Eoc, but sometimes I too miss the laid back feel of the old system. Most of all, I miss the concept of maximum hit, strength and attack bonuses. I miss levelling up my stats and seeing a new maximum hit. I miss stats meaning something. And lastly, I miss watching the experience I get per hit and guessing what hitsplat I make :)

From Mod Mmg's description, this looks like one of the best ways of going about this. I think restarting stats and items is not only a good idea, but importing the accounts can cause technical issues or it might not even be possible at all. I have no doubts the servers will see very high numbers as people try and compete to be the top player once again. As for whether these servers will keep their numbers over time, only time can tell.

I personally will be jumping back and forth from the games. I don't want to pay extra membership fees so I'll vote yes to hopefully reach the 500,000 vote total needed for me to play both servers for one membership price.

Also, I have a feeling a lot of people will get a one week membership package only to vote. But it would be nice to let all people with at least 500 total among members skills to vote. At one point, they WERE paying customers, so that invalidates Mmg's argument about servicing only the people who pay and support Jagex.

I don't want my money going on servers which will end up dying like the rsc servers and also I'm not paying for some idiots that can't accept change. If these people are catered to we'd still be in the dark ages.


Hey, ******, you obviously don't have to pay for these 2007 servers if you're not going to play them. This doesn't update you in any way so why on earth are you against it. Go play EoCscape some more ******

People need to learn how to get over their nostalgia. Seriously, we need to learn that people are just apt to pointing fingers and complaining. It wont stop, or fix anything, you will waste a ton of time re-booting the game to nostalgia times, and eventually it will get old.(pun intended)

EOC--Here to stay, I enjoy it. This has been what I have been seeking in a mmorpg. This EOC has allowed new strategy, easier combative elements, ability to fight bosses that I could've only dreamed of, and much more. High level players who have a feel of narcissism only want themselves to be good; and disapprove when the chances of equal opportunity arise. For someone who has a career, and little playing time, I am very glad that these changes were made. I don't have the time (literally) to carve out the level of experience that many of these players have. This account is older than the "old RS." I have been literally playing this game for 10 years this very year. I vote, no to the old rs/
