Good point. I for one would pay the 15$, and if the community is able to create a game environment that enables the player base to grow, there should be some mechanism in place.

$15 per month is pretty hefty though. And with Jagex' history of managing their game, that may be quite a hard sell to 100's of thousands of people.

Just a question, maybe its better if you add a trade limit after the economy starts to rise from its start? Its an idea, the only one that effectively stopped the bots because most of them were for gold trading, just a thought. Thanks for reading.

Regarding experience:

To implement a type of balance between those who want their current stats and those who want to start fresh, why not combine their ideas into one?

How about making the first month completely double or even triple xp, that way we won't have to grind too much to get our accounts started.

For those who don't want to "start over".. they have the eoc to play with their current stats.

It's hard to add party hats ingame somehow

But my idea is just to remove the word "rare"

You can buy all holyday items from the beginning till the last (the last before 10th august 2007) from diango in draynor village.

Make them all untradeable before people tries to scam people with it. ~

I don't know how anyone could rant on this thread. This is by far the most epic news I have read in a very long time. I am already planning in my head the route I'm going to take when servers go live.

My plan involves going to the stronghold of security to pick up 10,000gp than mining and making some more gp to buy a rune pick from the store. After that it is pure ess mining and rc training until I hit 44 rc than I will be making nats to high alch and start building up my cash pile. (money will be hard to come by)

I'm really looking forward to this thanks again Jagex.
