I won't vote myself for this, but I bet many of my friends will do. I think this will sadly split the community a bit; Between those that wish to play the old-style RS and those who wish to stick to the modern version. I just hope you guys know what you are doing. And I honestly prefer if you keep the focus on the modern game (even though you say that if you get enough votes in for this, you'll get a new development team for 2007 RS...I still think those resources would be better spent on developing the modern RS).
It will be very interesting to see the results. Rite of Passage - Explore a new world, learn about the aviansie and ancient secrets!

I have been playing since 2004 late summer. I really enjoyed pking with all my friends while I was in middle school. As I got to high school I saw runescape go through a change from Old wildy to bounty hunter, and so on. I have retired couple times due to the updates and not meeting my content, but thats fine since it is just me. But I was part of the riots back when they took old wildy back away from us. Its 2013 and I'm in college now and a veteran runescape player. If this update goes through I'd be more than happy to pay what it is to play again old wildy ***le. Thank you to the mods for finally listening to us the players. It took some time but its finally getting done. I hope to see many of you who are also as excited as me.

I have the same question as one of the previous players..

Considering we do have name changes now and some people are running around with the names of some mains how will that be affected?

Also, as mentioned above there was a drastic number of my friends who have been playing for as long as I have who quit but I know would come back if they had the means to speak their opinion and actually have a say in this.. If it's possible, why not let the free players vote and separate them at the end but at least you have a vague idea of how many of your players have actually left because of these updates..

lol a friend said to me runescape was restoring to this (probably an assumption) a week or so ago so i bought membership and you have released this :) lets hope everyone votes so it can be FREE i can say i will be voting.

Soooo silly that this is a members only poll...
all the vets that want to see this are no longer members, due to the fact that the new "runescape" sucks.
and i like the numbers you set the costs at... i don't think there's anywhere near 750k members anymore. there's probably a max of 300k, most of which are bots.

I guess this will make a lot of players happy, but in my case I would rather have a pre-eoc server/2011 (yeah I know you said no in the faq :P )
And in the poll I would rather see how many players are for AND against it (and how many are in the "I dont care" area which you can count for yes - like you do always :P ) because this way you could see it in a whole different way what the situation looks like

I hope you guys at jagex enjoy the flood of 1 month 2nd acc that will get membership only for giving additional votes - make something useful with the money

jagex had 200k+ player base at rs peak when it was fun if they want that again this is a great idea.........and import our characters to 2006 or just remove eoc completly and place it with runescape :D D with updates and everything like old times b4 sad eoc
