You can't have your cake and eat as well.

You wanted YOUR nostalgic RS or a chance to bring back 2007 ( when a lot of us just wanted pre eoc Oct 2012 be great.) So you want your game or your rares one or the other ppl.

What do you mean they don't have time? Its not about maxing out. Its about playing that same fun game we had 2007... Everyone will achieve their goals some day, Its not like you cant play the game if it does not have 500k-1m exp/hour rations -.-

Read the first 50 or so pages of this forum, but not the entire 1,076 pages! You really hit a nerve with this concept, Jagex; Thanks for doing so!

As you can see from my photo at left, I started playing rs as a non-member in 2006, joining in mid-2007. This will truly be a "blast from the past" for me personally! Ahh, lvl 3 here I come!

Like others, I am concerned about the inevitable bots as well as the real world security concerns of player accounts. I trust you'll add Jag Guardian to those old school accounts, as well.

I had to laugh recently; My middle son found a BOOK, published officially by Jagex, circa 2006 at our local library. The book described, in detail, how to fish, cook, mine, trade, etc. We both laughed at how far the game had progressed since then, and how "dated" the book was now! Too funny.

Thanks for offering this concept, and I'd suggest that you make an image backup of the game being played in 2013; You never know in 10 years where it will look like then ;)

Rares should make a full return. I would not know how though.

There seems to be some confusion. People seem to think that only the F2P part of the old game will return. This is false, right?

I started playing half way through 2005. My original character is banned but I would definitely vote if I had membership. If the old Runescape makes a full return I'd happily pay membership to play the old game again, but I'm not willing to buy membership simply to vote.
