Jagex needs to see how this might work out financially.

If free players voted it would be totally pointless.

Jagex has undoubtedly picked the numbers according to the amount of member accounts in some way. They might or might not have intended 500k-750k to be reached, but the number are nonetheless tailored after the member counts.

The numbers would obviously not be 50k-750k if anyone could vote (even if there was a point in that).

Even if you vote, the current version of RS will not lose any developement and will continue to be updated like usual. Voting helps all of us so please help :) . Plus this is making Jagex money which helps them pay for more updates to not only the older version of the game but also the new version as well. There is absolutely NO reason you shouldn't vote for this. It's a WIN WIN. :)

Awesome!

I love the eoc, I've been playing this game since 2005.

I like the eoc, it goes faster and is more fun and more interacting to the game and it provides more options, allthough I understand why people don't like it, I miss my pure pk'ing that's why I would love it if the old servers would come back, 2007 would be realy cool :D Buy cooking potions

I don't really see any problems with any of that at all. When I started The most expensive item in the game as 100k! Because that's how it works on a new game!

You want good gear/stats, just earn them. I'm looking forward to a new server, fresh start!

i will not play the old server if we are going to start all over again i worked months to get my skills that i have now and i like the old rs and i will play the old server but not if i have to start all over...so u dont have my vote atm

I can simply not believe some people are NOT going to vote for this. Seriously, EOC addicts, you yourselves say that you're tired of the whiners for old runescape?

By voting yes and making it reach 750k, you'll get rid of the whole "whiners" society.

Jesus, whoever I am, I would feel guilty for not voting.. And if you're not a member, you pay 7$ and get a free month of 2007 servers, no matter how much they cost!.. THAT'S AWESOME.

All in all Ive really enjoyed this thread and everyones comments but I have just noticed something that is important....

there are alot of players who actually really want this even tho they will be restarting from the beginning again

Im not one of them and Im not optimistic about it being a long-term success but atleast I dont think it will harm Jagex as a business too much if it doesnt work out. Nor do I think it will cause too much damage to the main EOC server in the long run, so for the sake of all those players who really want this - I will vote "YES" tomorrow to help THEM achieve their dream

I urge all of you to consider this for our fellow players sake and vote yes tomorrow
