You, sir, are an idiot. The F2P community means little to Jagex really. It is the P2P community that means the world to them. Without the P2Pers Jagex would be bust. F2P and P2P servers would be non-existent. The only money the F2Pers provide is ads. Even that is not 100% necessary for Runescape to continue. Under the right conditions there are hundreds of thousands of paying members. Game studios are businesses. Remember that. Also 200m accounts. Jagex could continue if just 1/100 of those 200m accounts got membership. £14m is a lot of money and could handle Jagex fine for a while depending on the size of the studio and wages.
