Why do people keep mentioning bank roll backs or stat's? What point of "fresh start" do you not understand? Don't mean to be rash but it clearly states that EVERYONE will be set back to level 3, all stats level 1. It's fair for everyone. If you complain that making money is going to be hard for a while maybe you shouldn't play. And as for the GE I liked it and all but the trade system was so much better back in the day, prices were't controlled by merch clans, but by single players who were selling that specific item. So saying goodbye to G.E is probably a good thing and it should not be put in the game again, not with set prices at least.

Dear JaGex, first of all, thank you so much.

I always wanted an oldschool server, please don't update this one with new content. Atleast for a year.

Rares, I don't think there should be rares, there is 3rd age and dragon chains.
Partyhats and such would not be good, everyone knows they will be worth something later. So people collect them, and if everyone gets a lot of partyhats, it won't feel like real runescape anymore.

The backup which they've recovered is before November 2007 - the backup was from August 2007. This means the Grand Exchange wont be transferred. test

Lastly, I want to add members that do indeed vote for the reinstatement of the service will all get their first month of 'Old School' RuneScape for free regardless of the eventual level achieved therefore those signing up just to vote you will not need to pay twice

So you are black mailing us!? So if I don't vote, it means that I don't get the free month membership on the 2007 servers, even though I am already a paying member?

@Michone....I believe that the reason that this 2006 Runescape is so exciting is not only because of the combat but also because of the new fresh start they have proposed. I think this is a great idea that will get many players doing their upmost to get on HS etc which they couldn't get on earlier because some people have been playing 5 years longer than them and it's not possible to catch up to them. I personally am most excited about the old combat system coming back as well as the new fresh start.

and why dont we (those who started playing in 2001-2004) have the right to keep our stats/banks? at least as how they were in late 2007? we putted so much effort and time on that..
