I currently own some rares on Runescape.

All the people who want rares implemented into the 2007 are for greed purposes.

It's not an end game item. I'm not even maxed and I'm more well off than most maxed players.

Just as a FYI.

Rares become a drive for: Merchanters, botters, and RWT.

Just look at how badly the Christmas Hats were hoarded and what ridiculous prices they reached and the hat is useless.

READ THIRD POST of official thread first month of membership in 07 servers is FREE if you vote!!! So it's not pay to vote!

to all those stating that they wont vote because they like EoC, news flash for those that cant read

A: current servers will not be changed because the 2007 servers will be seperate, much like RSC servers are today
B: if for some reason this fails and the RS2 supporters don't get this, feel free listening to the continue to whine and complain. so vote yes just to get them out of RS3:EoC

Simple Idea bare with me,

after the client loads, and before you log in your given 3 options of which game you would like to play,

Option 1: Runescape (Classic)
Option 2: Runescape 2K7 (if tomorrows polls go well)
Option 3: Runescape 3:EoC (Current version)

you get each games unique log in screen and music depending on which one you chose.

I think this is a great idea! If you look at other great MMO's or more specifically World of Warcraft. You will see a steep drop in old players due to content changes and their unwillingness to set up old school servers. I think if you open old school servers they should be stand alone and everyone should have to start fresh! This would make the grounds even for all and give a LOT of people a new, fresh start on their old favorite game. As far as discontinued items go? I think you should just recycle all of the trade able discontinued events so those of us who missed the boom the first time can witness it again! (Of corse restricting them to the old school servers!) :]
