@Zarosiannuke. As lovely as it is that you adjusted to the EOC, I must remind you that there are a couple million other players that despise it.

I absolutely hate the EOC. Why do i still play? Because of my friends in the game. Although their numbers are rapidly dwindling.

Yes the EOC does need to be removed at least until RS3 comes out. Why? Because MMG just said in the post that it was too hasty and since around 70% of most players don't like it i think thats a wise decision. And by 70%(ish) i mean including the people who quit because of the EOC not the current people.

And Pking is NOT a diversion. It was one of the games defining aspects and one of the things that made it unique. It was about using tactics and using special attack energy as a resource. And yes there was pjing but that's a million times worse in the Eoc. Previously pjers would only attack people with a skull and those they thought they could kill. In the EOC people are instantly rushed by an idiot with a hand cannon or polypore staff which has chased the remaining people out of the wilderness.

It may be a diversion to you but it was the reason a large chunk of the RS community played. Pking is a diversion to you and to others what you enjoy is a diversion to them. The only things that qualify as diversions are the designated Distractions and Diversions.

Hopefully people who will comment on this will have a positive IQ. If not then please get your desk to comment as it will undoubtedly be more intelligent.

I can't help but feel as if I owe an apology to the Jagex team. Just like most people I was on the we hate SoF and SgS side, but this has definitely opened my eyes. For the longest I forgot of the costs it may require running a game like runescape. But anyways I'm sorry for my silly behavior. I also have a new found respect that you've acknowledged how your promotions have been 'Too much overkill'. For instance my friend who's played runescape for only 20% the amount of time I did received his insta-kill darts and since I had quit for that short period of time I didn’t. It isn't really fair that he was able to get 140m for playing for 3 months at a certain time and I who’s almost received a 10-year veteran cape missed out because I wasn't playing at the time. Anyways your honesty is appreciated it's nice to be looked at like an individual out of so many. There’s nothing better than to feel like you can be heard as one and not only as many. Thank you

Also I’m a sucker for voice-acted bosses. It would be nice to see more like Yk’Lagor the thunderous :)

We have a wilderness update that we are working on right now, with the intention to encourage more people back into the Wildy. We are also planning to have better, more meaningful conversations with the pk community about the future of PKing - its certainly changed lots over the years and there are a wide range of opinions on what should be done next. Whilst I am confident that the update we have planned will achieve many of the aims set out by some of the larger PK clans last year, were not finished.

Pking is great if that is your thing, Im not saying dont make it part of the R S experience but why should those of us who really only go into the wildy to hunt penguins be killed... Take the Penguin hide and seek out of the wildy. I would say 95% of us take nothing with us because we dont want to lose our items, so they only get a kill count for killing us.. yes Im a high level and could probably kill many that go ...however I have morals and those morals say on the days when penguins are in the wildy , most are only there to spy the penguin and leave.. The penguins should have been taken out of the wilderness the same as quests since re-introducing the pk'ing wilderness..

This answer that you have given on page 42 worries me deeply.

I have heard that you intend introducing 'legitimate' gambling into the game via an official 'casino'. Is this what you're hinting at here? And are you, at the same time, advertising Runescape in schools to under 16s?

If your answer to current ingame gambling is to introduce your own version, how are you going to protect younger players from getting involved, and address the issue of a potential addiction becoming a problem for players?

Just reposting these important questions from earlier as I really am very worried about the consequences. Can you please offer us some reassurance about the content you have in mind for 'safer alternatives' and 'high risk gameplay'. Can you also confirm that this will not involve real money?

I agree to the micro-transactions, I have always been a super fan and think they are lots and lots of fun. Please, please keep them to cosmetics only in the future though, do not change this. :) Yes, I have the money to buy in-game beneficial stuff, but I don't wish to. As a veteran player of nearly ten years I feel that adding items in SGS with boosts would be unfair to the other members.

To a good year with many, many wonderful updates to come *raises cup of tea* cheers mates!
