I have seen this sort of thing posted a few times now. I remember when Daniel Clough posted something similar, reassuring everyone and telling us how great the future would be. Then he disappeared and left us with a load of broken promises.
gone
They are n** vital to RuneScape's growth, they are killing it. There are plenty of other ways to achieve larger incomes than going against your word and making the game unfair and devalued for many players.
Yes, they did and still do dominate RuneScape. Yes, they do not feel like RuneScape. That's because they are NOT RuneScape. RuneScape is way better than this. Do away with this, you know it's wrong.
"2013 will be YOUR year" -
I remember during one of the Q&A live-streams, one of the questions referred to the up-&-coming Elf quest that would also include the new elf city.
I remember Mark (or possibly Paul or someone else, my memory is foggy) stated that as it is such a huge workload, the best they could do was plan its release for 2014, and START work in 2013.
If 2013 is OUR (the players) year, our only wish would be to bring this quest-line up the pile in regards to importance. Really, we don't mind if you don't release ANY new quests in order to get the Elf quest out in 2013, ESPECIALLY if you plan on releasing more 10 minute long quests with voice acting.
(The new Grand-Master God quest does indeed sound fun, though I would appreciate it if you guys actually tried to finish off already existing quest-lines instead of starting new lines, or creating independent quests. (With this in mind, it'd be awesome if the new GM God quest linked in with other God quests - including basic God essentials such as While Guthix Sleeps, and even more out-there god quests like the Desert quests)
Thanks for reading.

"However, we can do better. At times in 2012, it felt like the SoF and SGS releases dominated our release schedule and news feed, and that some of the content just didn't feel like RuneScape. The team is certainly moving towards a better balance as time has gone on: I hope you'll agree that our more recent micro-payment updates are more in tune with the wider game, and that we've not released a micro-payment update on a week with no other content."
I thought I saw request for less micro-payment updates not just for the updates to not be in weeks without content.
To be honest I would much rather have the mt updates in 1 week once a month than every week along with the normal updates.
MMG - how do you plan to deal with the flowering issue? On reddit a jmod (cannot remember who - it wasn't Sabre) said that players will always find a way to gamble. This isn't true as gambling was a non-issue many years ago. I would honestly like flowers to be altered in some way to halt the flower gambling. PLease. It's on the GE in every world and it really helps solicit the RWT of RSGP.
Again, nether.
