expanding on my last post; the title of this thread is 'what's coming and what's going'. other than lettng us know there will be less aweful events like sizzling summer, you didn't actually say what will be coming or going, other than 'more updates'. please expand!

Hello jagex staff. I have played this game for about 9 years on and off between a couple of accounts. My all time favorite part of this game i found out early was pking. I spent countless hours pking and absolutely loved this game. I became quickly addicted making new accounts trying different types of pkers and I was able to adapt to every update ever released while pking, up until the release of "eoc". I know there are many other players that feel the same way as I do about this and I suggest you consider some of our thoughts as you continue to release new content and possibly remove the eoc from runescape. I will not be subscribing to members on any of my accounts until the old fighting style returns. I feel pking has been ruined and its kinda depressing to see such a fun game ruined with 1 update. =/

I've been playing Runescape since before the giant "RUNESCAPE 2" update that most current players don't know even happened. I've been playing this game since the dark ages of its development, and this is the message I send to Jagex: You ended the game for me. Over the past months what youve been doing is literally copying the World of Warcraft format of game. They were more popular than you, and Blizzard made more money. But you idiots don't understand. People didn't play RS because it was the next best thing to WOW, people played this game because it was different. It required little more than your mouse to play, and even so was one of the most competitive games I ever played. Constantly there'd be a fight for who has higher skills between me and my friends, who can PK each other faster. Who has more money, how did they make it, and can I make that money too? RS was fun because it was simple, magical, and humble. It wasn't hyped up to be something it wasn't. But now that has all changed. You've regurgitated the failures of WOW onto the game that was so much of my childhood. You've literally torn apart some of my fondest memories of learning and growing to understand the game. This is the only game in the history of man that can be this popular, and with each coming update, become worse. Its been more than 10 years of playing this game for me, and I must say I am absolutely done. A company that does not listen to almost half of its consumers when they say they don't want this stupid update does not deserve a second chance from me. But I do say, shame on you Jagex, and if you have any decency to the few thousand people you have playing this game anymore, turn back the clock and offer PRE-EOC servers. If not, I promise you: This game will fail within 2 years. These types of games are already on their way out and your poor choices have only sped up the process.

2013 is the "year of the community"? Then give them what they want before it's all over.

well put daughtered. i agree 100% with you man. like i said before its very depressing to see such a fun game go down the drain with ONE update.. if eoc is not removed i will be mad i played this game for so long to be led on to this whack update... people are talking about it everywhere, now almost everyone is skilling instead of fighting and the update was to the fighitng style, what does that tell you jagex?!? i think maube 10% of the old runescape players that have been in this game 5+ years like this new combat style. and daughtered i disagree with you about 2 years until the collapse of this game, i give it 1 year or less until the amount players dramatically drops. jagex will eventually reverse this update once they realize how much money they are losing from no one subscribing to members. i bet 65% of the members now are just waiting until their membership runs out.. Thanks jagex for ruining one of my favorite past times, i spent countless hours pking and thats why i loved this game so much was killing other players in the wilderness. I will not be subscribing to members until the eoc update is reversed or pre eoc worlds come. :(

Do you plan on bringing back stats? Why do I struggle to kill a level 90 tribesmen on my main account which has 99 ranged using a 2 rune crossbows with rune bolts? What have you done to my years of hard work? Why is casting a level 95 spell is worthless unless I'm using a 20M wand? Why do I hit horribly unless I use the abilities? Are there any plans to fix this obviously broken system?

Make a new enchantment for equips for LP boost, armour boost and so.


"Please remove the EOC and put back the old levels in! Combat levels were so much better before.

ALSO remove any game-changing items from SoF or SOS, this should be purely cosmetic, it isn't fair for players who can't afford that stuff... "

Jagex cannot remove EoC, as it is here to stay. I can't even wait for RS next Gen.

We can't fire Mod Mark as he is here to manage Runescape.
