I myself spent a lot of my time playing with and against other players battling on many different grounds. Be it the wilderness, clan wars, duel arena, etc.
The point is, it was the best time I ever had on RS. Now, due to all those changes you and your new team have made to RS, all this content has gone. Does it not bug you even slightly that you possibly could have helped destroy which was arguably the best content this game has ever seen? Does it not bug you to know that the game pre 2006 or 2009, whatever, was actually fine the way it was? And that you made a right mess of it all?
We were all happy with the minor updates, negating minor grievances here and there, but always accompanied with major (catastrohical) updates, and that's what BUGS ME SO MUCH. You keep telling yourself you did a good job, and you keep praising yourself with proof of happy people ('happier then they were before the updates'), but in reality, we all know, this is not the case.
Do you know, Jagex, what I have been doing with this account the last 2-3 months? I've just been logging in daily to do my spins, and occasionally doing the penguins and the troll invasion, just to get my free load of experience. And I still don't know why, not like I'm ever going to get a max/comp cape. And even if I do, it's a hollow achievement... With all the updates and gestures you've enabled in the past years, this game has gotten increasingly boring and easy. There's no more competition...
Besides an avid PvP'er, I also was kinda into PvM'ing. Whenever I log into RS, I'd like to think I still am.
Truth is, I haven't even done the effort to look up this mighty new monster, the kalphite king. That's when I realised**** is no longer interesting, nor innovative.
That brings me to a thing firecechamp above me brought up. How about that pre-RS2? Is there any chance you're going to launch that?

Well if the "new game" isn't proposed to undermine players existing game time, then why did*'t RS3 feature EOC and other buyable 99's?
