Oo, hadn't considered that. I'm on a satellite connection as well. It's generally quite good, but it's not the DSL I was used to. Unfortunately, after a move, it's the ONLY high-speed 'net I can get here...

Edit: Lili I'm sure what he has on is Solomon's store dungeoneering armour look-alike cosmetic junk. I meant to append a "wink, wink" lol

Edit 2:

I just saw they've made a thread about the "Local Storage" issue. So for anyone else that's been accessing this thread directly from the Bestiary newspage (as I had) there's somewhere else to look for answers now.

I'm really liking the news posts guys.. Well done Jagex. It really feels like you are listening to the community. The skill total worlds are things that people have been wanting for a while, as are the 2007 servers, more frequent sink holes and the possibility of Runescape on mobile devices (Hopefully iOS will follow within the not too distant future!)

THANK YOU :)

Hey guys, i thought this was a really awesome feature, absoultely love the interface you have made for it.

One suggestion i do have, i reckon it would be popular with other video makers is to do it where you can hide the background on the interface and just show the monster.

that way video makers could use effects to add the monsters into videos, would be a good little feature for people making machinimas etc

Just a thought anyways, well done :P

Looks cool. HTML5-powered RuneScape sounds really interesting, I'm looking forward to seeing what they'll be able to do with it.

I kind of get why people are reluctant to install Chrome, but their HTML5 support is pretty good. I understand other browsers will probably be supported at a later stage.

On a related note - I'm using Chromium on Linux and the bestiary doesn't work. Do you reckon I should send in a bug report for it? I mean, it's not *quite* the same as Chrome, but...

Can anyone spot the difference between these two posts:

"yet another great ***** up by jagex seeing as this new rs engine requires Google Chrome....I WILL NEVER USE IT, AS GOOGLE CHROME IS A HORRIBLE BROWSER."

"I kind of get why people are reluctant to install Chrome, but their HTML5 support is pretty good. I understand other browsers will probably be supported at a later stage."

Theres some subtle difference...
:D
