Id just like to congratulate Jagex - this is fantastic.

As (it seems) like they are using Canvas, I wonder if its a completely bespoke 3d engine they are using or some 3rd party stuff.

This quality 3d javascript application is really rare at the moment, this is pretty cutting edge stuff. If the whole of runescape client does transition to Javascript, that probably instantly makes it the biggest and most advanced use of JS ever. Certainly VERY impressive.

@The Violated - Thanks for that info. I've played with a lot of with Chrome Experiments, so I was aware of WebGL but didnt know it was used via Canvas.

Anyone know if they have mentioned the sticking points with Opera support?
Not sure what their WebGL support is like on their mainline release, but they had a whole beta browser running of the gpu at one point, and I think their webworkers are fine.
They beat Firefox on general html5 stuff overall : http://html5test.***/results/desktop.html

Opera has a low number of users on desktop (but deserve a lot more), yet they have a significant share of the portable market.

The dwarves need to have one consistent appearance. Some are updated, others aren't. Other than that, nice job with this.
