Im experiencing the same problem as Coyteria.

I encounter the message "local storage access required, please enable local storage in your browser settings".

Im not good in IT, but these are what I checked:
- Content settings -> cookies -> allow local data to be set
- Chrome fully updated
- Not sure if this matters, but ad-block is disabled

Can anyone please help? Im really eager to experience RS in HTML5 firsthand :)

Looks great.

I have two problems with it:

1. Some billboards work and some do not. For example TzTok-Jad's eyes work correctly while on sides of his neck and chest I can see black squares. Some of which are partially transparent.

2. Some surfaces aren't textured correctly. For example Ganodermic Beast's pods or most of TokHaar-Yt-MejKot.

I'm quite sure it's a driver issue. Sadly I have up to date drivers. Keyword here is X4500 an integrated graphics.

I hope those issues will be fixed for only one billboards don't work and only some surfaces don't texture properly. "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape."

lame. just more advertisement is all you will get from chrome
your mail will be bugged, your home page will show you more advertisement you didnt ask for. not to mention its asking to monitor your searches and everything.
very very lame, i will wait until you dont get anymore money from google
because the smart people understand someone paid you to use it on chrome duh
bunch of dorks.
i usually have good things to say about jagex, but this update is not
needed, try doing something with the fog or stealing creation.
stuff looks like my old nintendo 64 graphics.
lame bestiary idea.

Just like to know when this will be fixed? Checked my Chrome settings, they are what they are meant to be to enable this to work.

One quick tip or suggestion, can we have like maybe 4 or 5 back drops to choose from? Like maybe one a little more dungeon, and another wilderness style, and maybe one that's more peaceful with a waterfall or something? Each one with it's own lighting style. I think that would be pretty cool. Just a small thought no big deal if implemented or not.
