Jagex if you decide to read this first off thanks and second please round the votes you have already done so much for the community so far in 2013 and a lot of people are very happy but we would even be more happy and grateful if you round the votes up to 500k and add no additional fee because a lot of people such as myself just like to go down to the store and buy a membership card and be done with it right there and not have to worry about extra fees and if you really are for the community and caring you will at least consider this also you will not be making any extra money for not rounding the votes and charging that fee because I have asked many players will you keep playing this game if you have to pay those extra fees for it and 40% of them said no they will not they just don't have the money and feel its not worth that extra fee almost making the price the monthly cost for World Of Warcraft for a game which requires a lot less money to develop and maintain so please if you really want to keep your player base high for the game and get more veterans coming back round that vote up!

There is no way very many people are going to be playing the old servers if there is an extra $5 fee... that's ridiculous. I'm hoping that Jagex will make up the difference for us, because ~450k is just too close to 500k to completely disregard. I haven't played in years, but I started in early '06 and became a member a year later in '07. I will certainly be getting members again if the vote reaches 500k, but I'm not going to waste my money right now, in case it doesn't happen.

This game will go into a ditch if people are forced to pay an extra $5. The normal membership already costs me $15 NZD, an extra $5 or whatever will be outrageous..
Jagex need to open there eyes and realize that they will still make money if some of the servers are free. Also, most of the old players (me included) only payed for members to vote and to play a month of 07 for "free" and not play EoC at all. I doubt many old players will continue to play after this month has passed. Rethink your actions jagex. that all im saying.

Awesome news!

I have played this game on and off since January 2007 - love it, as it was before the G.E; before Godwars dungeons etc.

If I could suggest only one improvement that I think would make a lot of sense in the long term - please think about allowing f2p players. I reckon a lot of players might like to try it out before they become members, just like the 2013 version. We need our treasured community not just to stay loyal, but to actively grow. Only with f2p can this happen.

Good going Jagex. Very happy getting back to how Runescape used to be - and how, in my opinion, it should remain.

Jagex I don't want to seem like a kill joy I'm glad of what you done, but you have to take in account of a large group of players not being able to be members due to surfpin, so me personally I believe we would of hit 500k and succeeded for the better option! Please actually consider this and not blank it! Because you know a lot of people use this method of payment due to several factors

Thanks, for the decision to allow 6 months free for Old School RS. It's been a lot of fun and a real challenge for those of us who are high levels to start from scratch. I've hopped back & forth between EOC and Old School but find myself enjoying Old School the most. Thanks to all of you who voted for it and for those of you who quit when EOC came out....come back....you'll love returning to '07!!!

So i have to be a member on the eoc which i dont want to play on at all, just to play on the old runescape, why cant there be a free world so i dont have to pay for a game i dont play on (eoc), i would have voted for the old runescape but i dont want to pay to be a member on the eoc just so i can vote for a game ive been playing and always wanted to play, please make it to where i dont have to pay for the eoc just to play the old runescape, i have been a member on this game multiple times i dont see why i wouldnt be able to play the old runescape.
