As someone who's been a player since 2004 (and resubbing in December)...sad to say, but I have much more fun in the main game than 2007. I'll probably still hop in 2007 for an hour or two a day, but most of the best parts came out after then: Summoning, HD graphics, HD music, voice acting, the GE, D&Ds, all the clan stuff like citadels, resting, epic quests and improved storytelling, level 4 clue scrolls, Kuradal's slayer dungeon, a lot of interface changes to make banking and inventory handling better, Runespan, lodestone teleports, achievement diaries, even Dungeoneering was a good change from usual grinding....I'm not sure there was even much of the construction skill back then, if at all. And of course, the lack of any updates (or moving modern updates to the 2007 server, such as quests and summoning) would be a 2007-killer for me. 2007 brings back some of the awful memories of the game which were even worse than revenants or EoC (but I like the EoC myself. AND it made magic and especially range actually tolerable to train. I wouldn't touch range apart from raising it for quests pre-EOC)...such as scamming, no anti-roof control, poor display options, horrid graphics, no gravestones or choosing what you keep (including clues being auto-destroyed), and random events interrupting you during combat which will pretty much ensure you get killed.
Oh, and if you don't like combat bots in the main game, the solution is to go to the 1500-skill world. I HARDLY see any bots doing combat there, and the slayer tower is E-M-P-T-Y and the only people at Grotworms are real people.
Congrats to those who actually want to pay for a static screenshot wherein you can move around, I suppose. Hopefully we get to 500k votes so the 2007 servers can get real updates like the main game. THEN I may see about devoting my main game time to it.
