The fact that there are 110K people playing and 50K of them are on the Classic Servers begs to differ with the fact that you said a few nostalgic people wanted them back.

The amount of clans who have started organizing events and preparing for the long term on these servers shows me that in time there will be a somewhat even split between people playing the current game, and people playing the classic servers.

Please understand that while JaGeX were allocating massive amounts of time and energy toward creating a more friendly game, they alienated many of the players who preferred the hardcore aspect of the game, be it Pking or PVM without over-powered items...

Excellent little paragraph honey bee, except saw same thing said about classic version of runescape when it came out, very very simpl, dead content before they launched it but kudos on the marketing....who dreams up these things....and of course it won't effect the main game, cough cough nice bts this week :D

so happy this is out, i think its a brilliant idea that many people love!
also i think it brilliantly highlights how awesome the current game has evolved and i would like to say well done jagex + all u devs and mods! jobs a good 'un
