Making Old RS playable?. Now before anyone assumes I am just a ranter wanting to change old RS and get booted by everyone to tell me to go to new RS if I don't like it, hear what I have to say.

I love the old runescape as much as the new one, and I have missed it. But going back to old rs is somewhat, impractical now that I have played it again for a long time. Some of the things I am referring to is for example, the middle click can not pan the camera which is now noticeably frustrating or the fact there is no bank all inventory item for the bank. I do not wan'* the game changed in a way where it makes the old rs, not the old rs. I just believe if runescape is going to launch a whole dedicated team or such, I think not only would it be wise to make some changes that will further more secure the future of the interest in players vs new rs, but it will also make the game, playable with these simple updates. Not forgetting to mention new rs skill levels.

If I understand you correctly, we won't automatically be billed for the additional fees? Or, should we stop our reoccuring membership before it all happens?

Jagex and all of the staff; I'd just like to say a big thankyou for bringing me the best news of the past three years as far as gaming goes. After watching my favourite game go down the drain due to many appalling updates that killed the basic mechanics of this once great game, I sit back and applaud you for finally listening to the community and bringing them what they want. Too many a time had I considered withdrawing membership and quitting for months and months on end. It's so good to see that the true, core RuneScape is back.

You are most welcome! Our developer and support teams have done an excellent job in getting this nostalgia-soaked version up and running so quickly. It's all for the community, as they're what makes the game special! Of course, the majority of our long-term focus will be on the advanced, fully-featured, "main game", but I know we're all really happy to bring you this opportunity to go back and relive some glorious memories in the meantime! ^_^

Exactly right - NO additional money will be leaving your account automatically just because you voted. You will deliberately have to sign up for the additional service if it launches with an additional fee. But if we get over 500k votes, it'll be no extra money for existing "main game" subscribers, so make sure your friends vote too!
