Since I voted for the 07 server, will I automatically have to pay the 5 dollars extra even if I never go on the server?

My understanding is that everyone who voted gets a month of access free right off the bat. This is what we're calling "Early Access".

With the full launch coming after that, the additional subscription fees tied to whatever vote level was reached will then kick in, and you'll need to sign up to pay them.

So in short, no - just because you voted, doesn't mean you're tied to subscribing to OSRS if it requires an additional subscription on full launch.

Jagex and all of the staff; I'd just like to say a big thankyou for bringing me the best news of the past three years as far as gaming goes. After watching my favourite game go down the drain due to many appalling updates that killed the basic mechanics of this once great game, I sit back and applaud you for finally listening to the community and bringing them what they want. Too many a time had I considered withdrawing membership and quitting for months and months on end. It's so good to see that the true, core RuneScape is back.

You make me happy once more.
