I like the SoF. I also really like the sure-footed auras. I got my agility cape the hard way, although I did have Karamja 3 gloves for my final month of training. However, my two other permanent member accounts are using the auras.
Agility is a difficult skill to train, unless you're a macro-user doing the circular courses. I use Brimhaven almost exclusively ( had to do some other courses from time to time for various reasons). I'm pretty sure it's a bot-free environment, but it requires constant attention and mega-clicking. It's not a "free" skill or an afk skill such as woodcutting and fishing; and it's not a safe skill, either, except when using the aura.

About this temporary (?) change in SoF: my immediate reaction to the news is "NO", "NO", and "NO"!
With 3 long-term member accounts, with all the extra spins through May, I've never gotten anything better than a medium lamp. I will simply reject all those low level raw fish, because I can't be bothered with them. They would take up precious bank space, and aren't worth the trouble. This is true even for my lowest level account with skills in the 60's and low 70's. I've had two rare items in combined 12 + years of playing: a pirate hat once and ranger boots once, both from treasure trails. Still have the boots, but had to sell the hat as that was before POH's and extra bank spaces. Never a rare drop. Ever.
So, I'm not happy about this update.
Edit: By the way, I have never bought spins, and never will buy them. Edit: had to fix awkward sentence. :)

^ What I meant by removing the beneficial auras was maybe add them as rewards to a minigame, rather than be able to buy them with IRL cash. As for the SOF, I just can't stand it anymore. I don't get why anyone would want to buy spins at all. But it's your opinion, and I can't force you to change it. I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.

^ No that was my suggestion - to remove purchasable spins (or the SoF entirely) and give the option to buy cosmetics from the loyalty shop. The auras would have to be removed, to stop people buying in-game advantages. Because not so long ago, Jagex said;
"We don’t want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn’t affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape" I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.

There are in-game advantages on many levels. Many players have great advantages already, because they are rich in gp, and they can buy the best items. I'm rather poor in gp, and so I'm slow training skills such as prayer and construction and summoning. I don't know how people get so "rich" in Runescape money, but every member -regardless of levels - has the same opportunity to amass a richness of Loyalty Points.
Edit: One other point: what does SoF have to do with Loyalty Rewards, anyway? I don't see the connection.

This is disgusting. I never thought I would see it come to this. Such a blatant and heedless cash grab, completely at odds to any possible chance of benefit to the game. How about you just hurry up and finish your Transformers MMO so you can violate it, instead of Runescape?
I have played this game for nearly a decade on several accounts, and this is the single most horrible update I have ever seen, in any game. This is entirely going back on every single thing that made this game great. I could ignore the SoF itself, but this is too much.
I'm just glad it came out now. I quit for about a year, just came back, and was about to buy membership again at the end of the trial membership. Now I don't need to worry about wasting eight dollars a month.

I've been a player for like 7-8 years and never has Jagex been so outrageous! The Wilderness removal was done for a reason.. you brought it back. The SoF has no reason, in fact it contradicts all your past policies. REMOVE IT!
