As a classic player myself membership was the only income for you years back Jagex. (which 150,000+ member players play a day may i remind you, you are making a minimum of *750,000 U.S. dollars a month I'm sure. The general upkeep of a Mmorpg is costly i know. That is still a pretty penny.) The taking away of free trade and the wilderness almost killed the game, in the temporary wilderness you, jagex, has decided to make a dragon full helm as a drop in Pvp thus created the massive decline in the price from 45m to 6m. You removed the dragon full helm from the Pvp drop list because you have seen the effect it had on the In-Game economy, soon after you returned our natural mmorpg right for free trade and the wilderness we all loved. Years back you made a promise that you would not intentionally create a rare / discontinued item...at least not on purpose. Half jug of wine? accident, Fish mask from the squeal of fortune however, intentional. You will find hundreds of videos on the internet about your "Squeal of Fortune" also known to 95% of the Runescape community as "A quick buck". 99% of those Squeal of Fortune videos are from bought spins. I have spent $100 U.S. dollars on 375 spins and created one video. I have seven Squeal of fortune videos total, equaling over $200 U.S. dollars, just to give you a basic idea of how many people buy your spins. However! When i was purchasing those spins, i would have never thought you would create a RARE object, and place it into the Squeal of Fortune, then advertise on the homepage of Runescape that it will become a rare. That clearly is for your personal benefit, not the benefit of the players. Many players will manipulate this item and make well over 100m gp. Current price on the fish mask is 4m, 4m for a item that blows bubbles and looks terrible. Most of your community does not like the Squeal of Fortune, right now, we are not asking you to remove the wheel. We are asking you to NOT make this fish mask a Rare / Discontinued item

This does not seem right to me at all, I'm personally never going to buy spins again, if anything, I will spread the word to how corrupt our game staff has actually become. You are no better than Gold4fun or any other gold selling site. You have listened to your players in the past, why not listen now. I don't care about any other opinions on this forum to be honest, this is directed to you Jagex, not some thirteen year old kid with a voice does not matter, I hear enough of those in game. This and every other post against the fish mask is the majority of your community. On this forum alone you can see more "hate posts" than "thank you" posts. You know the right thing, need to find a way out of this mess? easy, place the item on a rare slot in the squeal of fortune, forever. The item will not be considered a "rare" and we will always have a chance to win the item in the squeal wheel. Enough said, basic points. Do the right thing, do not make it a rare, stop real world trade.
Raid those undergarments, before we raid yours. Take care Jagex
Edit: For all past posters and future posters, Saying keep up the good work and "I love you jagex" won't make you mod.

As long as the SoF contains more than cosmetic items - or as long as spins can be bought, I won't use it.
Given that the use of 'free' spins gets counted as support for this RWT scheme, and as an excuse for the introduction of further microtransaction schemes, I won't use the SoF.
Given that all protests, and all constructive criticism against the introduction of Jagex-sponsored RWT has been ignored, and continues to be ignored -
given that not spinning the wheel is the only feedback that counts, and how desperately Jagex tries to bribe the players into using it - and thus superficially agree to the SoF -
I will not use the SoF.
Every 'free' ticket forced on me will be destroyed.
Every 'free' spin forced on me by other ways will be ignored.
Every (contract-breaking) pop-up ad for the SoF will be clicked away.
That Jagex wastes time and resources on SoF pseudo-content updates, and lowers the number of real content updates, has already gotten me into playing other MMOs. (And not only me.)
Ignoring every criticism on the SoF, forcing it at players even more than ever before, putting more 'desirable' stuff on it won't turn me into an SoF user, and thereby a 'supporter' of Jagex' sellout.
I consider every new 'improvement' of the SoF other than the removal of tradeable items and exp lamps, or the removal of purchasable spins, as an insult: It insinuates that Runescape players can be bought into supporting the SoF. That we all are corrupt enough to accept pay-to-win schemes as a legitimate part of the game.
Put up beefeaters and fish marks, hand over billions of gp and millions of xp - I will ignore Jagex bribes just as Jagex ignores each and every critique on its sellout.
Sorry: Just for reassuring myself of my moral superiority at the cheapest price possible - I won't use the SoF.

The "solution" to people complaining about SOF and the solution to getting rid of gold farming bots is to just to flat out sell RSGP and items.
There would need to be an exchange rate for real $ and RSGP that is low enough to drive gold farmers out of business. (Something they can't compete with).
The squeal of fortune (neptune) is just a small step towards this. Jagex is revealing their intentions with the squeal of fortune in steps. They release one thing, receive hate which eventually dies down, and then release another which repeats the cycle.
The final step in this process is Jagex actually selling RSGP and items for real $ at a price that gold farmers can't compete with.
