I am very glad to see this and i think it is a good start but Jagex needs to also look into punishing players who lure trade one of my friends was a victim of this where as she went to hit agree the screen was changed and she teled to wilds and lost all her stuff she had thought she was trading. Jagex needs to strongly go after this kind of action as well as making an effort to get back what they were cheated out of
Another thing to be looked into is the sad miss use of Jagex abuse reporting system where random abusive language reports can be made even though nothing was said infront of that player Ive seen players going around and just randomly reporting someone even though they may not of cussed or acted badly knowing jagex will look into a 15 minute window and once finding something they may of said mute them even thought the person reporting the offense was not there to see it I've seen this used to often as a cowardly way to torment someone that player does not like
I say both of these as someone who has never been scammed or muted but am concerned about cleaning up theses abuses and making rune a better place for all thank you

sadly there are a lot of false jagex scams coming to our emails now How they get your email address I do not know but it needs looking into
That being said when ever I get one of them that winds up in my junk mail or says something I know isn't right like my account is in jeopardy or I am bout to be removed ect. I go to runescape home page and log into my account and check my status from there which will show if I have any problems and I check the mail tab there too to see if Jagex has sent me a email.
It is sad but a fact of life that some how these people have gotten our emails from Jagex I know because after changing emails it was months before they came to the
new one while the old one still received them
SO remember don't open them in your email but go to your player account in runescape to check if you have a problem or email from Jagex and you might want to do a virus scan if you have opened one
ALSO jagex will not ask you for your log in name, ********, or bank pin so don't give them out Jagex needs to continue educating its members on this
I got my JAG today and I appreciate the extra layer of security it provides. I have a few friends who are skeptical because of the risk of losing the account, should one happen to forget the answers.
It has been made very clear by Jagex that you should pick the questions to which you have absolutely certain answers, and this is what I am trying to tell my friends. JAG is worth the few minutes it takes to sit down and remember those few things from the past.
So if my registered computer craps out while registerd with JAG, then what happens? Many people only HAVE one computer at a time, so cannot register multiple computers to an account.
Far too many people have had very bad experiences with JAG, and jagex has announced no fixes for those problems.
That's a shame that this happened to you. I've hidden your post as it's not ok to post links. I'm sorry but items won't be returned but its good that you have JAG added now. Remember, the Jag system is automated, so you need to be able to type in your answers exactly as you gave them (including case sensitive).
Hi Black xWolfx,
Whatever you do, please don't give them anything. That's a scam. Contact your internet provider about the matter. I've hidden your post here as you named someone and this accusation can't be proved here.
Don't worry, the Jmods can still read the hidden posts.
