i'm sorry but if you want facts, then look up gold price. notice how they steadily decrease. there is only one explanation for a decrease in gold prices which is an increased rate of gold farming. jagex is fully aware of this, but is stuck in a "sticky" situation. they want to get rid of gold farmers and bots, but they won't due to the money issues it would create. Above all, if they don't deal with the bots, then this game will die out. Eventually, players come to realize they can't compete with cheaters so they become cheaters themselves. I hate the EoC, but the rise of gold farming and bots will ultimately be the downfall of runescape and jagex themselves... but seriously jagex, give us runescape 2 back please.

Actually gold value reflects real life inflation/deflation, as well as the fact money is considerably easier to make in rs compared to say 4 years ago.
As for why anyone would actually buy/sell runescape gold i dont know, hardly a good way to spend/earn your money, if you want something in this game get it yourself - if everyone followed this logic the game would be a much better one, sadly you will always get the lazy.

What is the obsession with pre-eoc?? it wasn't that good. you need to calm down about that nonsense because combat is much better now, maybe your not even thinking clearly about how cb was back then, you have made it a deity that can do no wrong which is sad to me, they have a word for what you are its called delusional...get therapy then come back to rs cause i know you won't quit
