This is a lie. And therefore false advertising. Jagex chooses to specify the "Gold Package", saying that it offers a 10% discount. In another thread they said the "10% discount" was simply reiterating the membership discount.

It's not a lie, don't find nothings to complain about.

The list just consists of everything you will get if you buy the package, therefore of course they would state you will get 10% discount off Solomon, as this occurs when you buy membership such as this or any other. It never said anything about receiving an extra 10% on top of that.

Honestly, I don't know who would not have had a chance to join the premier club by now. And does an extra 4 days really offer "that much more" of a chance to do so? Hmm.... Is the extension really due to "popular demand"? If the club was indeed so popular, would an extension even be needed? Would not the units sold have already surpassed company expectations? Something doesn't add up in the message your putting out there, and once again I smell a little stink in the recipe.

This is the kind of word-smithing that is used to dance around the truth behind why this is being done. In and of itself, I don't see this particular instance as such a big deal, but it seems this is being done more and more. The pattern seems to be to hide the truth, tell part truths, or put something out there that will lead the unsuspecting off the real path of what's going on, or at least keep them from finding out. All this after the recent MMG post about listening and communicating more with the player base... ahh, so many lessons learned.

Well... if it's not going to be mature, completely honest, forthright, and to the point, please don't say anything. I can handle not knowing, or not even being told, but please don't try to tinkle on my leg and tell me that it's raining.

BTW, thanks for POP. 2 thumbs up! Best update in a couple years imo (not including the random event / reroll nerfs of late that created much unfairness for the thousands of players will never have the opportunity that the hard-core front running players did).

Did i miss something when i went from f2p to members?
Now i have to go from Members to Premium member?

Suck it up guys you are making some terrible choices.
How about you fix the game show your capable of running
and managing your service before you ask people to continue to
support your company at 1 year intervals. Your dismal effort in
repairing the economy, monsters, bots and real world traiding.

Fix the bots, fix the ancient caverns. I can make a list so long

I just purchased the Gold Premier Club Membership, but am not getting the additional 10% discount at Solomon's general store (I'm still only receiving the original 10% discount). Could someone look into this issue, by chance, please? I would appreciate it very much!

Edit: After reading through some of the posts here, it looks as though it was meant to just be the original 10%, not an additional 10% discount for a grand total of 20% off. Could this perhaps be clarified by a moderator, by chance?

If it's just the original 10% discount, and was basically being restated, it's a bit misleading (it may border on false advertising, but that's not up to me to decide), and I kind of had my hopes up. That said, I'm still satisfied with the purchase. Personally speaking, I primarily made the purchase for the savings - whilst not a HUGE savings, $25 - not including the cost of the other bonuses (which would add up to an additional $50, approx.) - could go towards something more important.

Now, if only they would do something about opening up Classic - it would've been awesome if they had included lifetime access to Classic with this offer! If a moderator sees this, and can make it work, I'm willing to trade/forfeit the following for lifetime access to Runescape Classic: the "range of special cosmetic items" known as "Flaming Skull," "Turkey Hat," "Scarecrow Mask," and "Lightning Pack" - already had the lightning pack unlocked previously from a game card, so I don't need a second (but want to keep my first one) - along with priority access to the closed betas. Heck, to sweeten the pot, I'll even forfeit my extra Squeal of Fortune Spin. ;)
