The random lengthening of this really does strike me as that opportunism/desperation you spoke of...then they did say this money would go into great content. /Waits for Menaphos and Elven opening.

They could just keep Premier Club open BUT remove the Competition entry part after February. That way it would seem like this was a seasonal one off thing.

Oh my word, this made me lol irl. What you mean to say is " due to not enough people being taken advantage of by sending in thier cash to us we are going to extend this 'offer' just in case we have missed any more gullible people with too much cash in thier pockets"

Honestly, your desperation astounds me but does not surprise me, not anymore anyway.

Fail idea has failed. Instead, why not concentrate your efforts on the players who have paid for years though thin and thinner to help keep RS alive and kicking. It seems that years of membership count for nothing.

At least as previous posters have asked, keep this as an open subscription option to run inline with cards and Direct Debits etc. not as this obvious attempt to raise cash quickly.

I have a question in regard to the Premium Package.
Is there any way I can see in my adventure log that I am a gold member?

I can't see it in the payment area, just says I have so and so long subscription. Can we somehow get something, (other than the items we get) that will show us that we in fact are Premium members and what kind of premium member?
An icon or something, under the adventure log?

Jagex What happened to make you want to make people with more rl money feel special?

Runescape at one time was a place where you paid one small fee to have access to everything. Now anyone with enough rl money could buy there way to a level 99 *kill, have a special membership and other game items that should be won in game not paying rl money for the items.

What I want is the old Runescape back it was a place where I did enjoy spending my time. Now it is all about money and sadly that is what will be the end of runescape.

I won't post anymore and this will be my last visit to the runescape website.

Jagex did destroy runescape all in the name of greed.

I want to wish the players that do remain in hope of Runescape being changed back to the game they did enjoy the best of luck and take care.

Um so i was in the Solomons store yesterday after buying the membership gold one, and i still have a 10% discount showing, shouldnt it be showing 20% since you get 10% for being a member and this gives 10%?

This is a lie. And therefore false advertising. Jagex chooses to specify the "Gold Package", saying that it offers a 10% discount. In another thread they said the "10% discount" was simply reiterating the membership discount.

Making it available "due to popular demand" is a lie as well. It isn't a good which requires production. Everyone who wanted it has bought it. They had a month to do so and it takes a few minutes (if that).

I feel cheated that literally everyone who *id*'t buy an ornate katana/flaming skull during the promotion time period has one now.

But then again, I'm also confused as to why the Golden katana didn't make it into the gold membership pack. It's now the only promotional item I'm missing. Will there be any way to redeem that item in the future?
