Sorry to say, but I don't believe this. I have been playing for about 6 1/2 years and many of us have been bringing these issues to your attention since that time, most likely before.
Bots are not being removed from the game. Although there is now a visual annihilation of the spewing advert bots, they are able to get in there few spams before they are removed and another 3 instant advert bots walk to the same area to spew it more.
I have not done the God Statues D&D or PoP yet and may wait to make sure the bugs are removed before trying them out. The PoP glitchers should be banned just as much as the GS D&D ones.
All botters, cheaters, scammers, lurers, etc. should be removed from the game, but I have not seen much effort put into this area. Removing Free Trade and the Wild did greatly reduce these aspects of the game, but sadly you brought them back with a false statement that you could handle the incoming wave of mass bots and other malicious aspects of the game.
You have lost most of my faith with the updates that help the bots/cheaters, but the lack of customer support and removal of the obvious problems has made it even worse.
Also, P-Mods are not Jagex employees and they do not monitor the game as if they were. They are players like everyone else and should be subject to the same rules as everyone else. They are not "required" to do anything. They tend to choose to assist others and can temp mute players that break chat related rules. They cannot ban or perm mute/ban anyone. They can report like all other players.
Sadly, all any of the players can do is report and move on with the hopes that Jagex upper management will realize this game is not like most of the ones they think it is and allow it to become what it was.
Cheating is cheating. What is the point of having a script play for you since you are not playing the game if it does? A game is meant to be played, not placed on auto and watched.
