You say that you banned several high level players, all well and good. I have a question though. What happens to all the stuff in thier banks?
I can just see several party hats going ****, pixels all gone and the item never more. That must be bad for the over all Economy!
Yeah it is just pixels, nothing to loose sleep over some would say. But when one of your Goals is go buy a Party Hat and have it to share amoung you and few friends working on the project, it just seems to make the project harder. Value is tied into how much someone wants something, as well as how useful it is in the game. But the only thing Rares seem to be good for is hold large amounts of Gold in one item. With Jagex stating that they have deleted ( banned ) this high level accounts, wouldn't it stand to reason that several cool rares have gone away too?
How do you really base an economy on a game where ores never run out or trees regrow? Supplies are really endless, not like the real world. Anyway Just a pondering thought, I guess we will only see the results of the item losses in the prices of items now, and wonder if it was this or something else that moved the prices. Never something that can be well predicted.
