Botting is safe. In people who bot, will most likely get away with it. That's the truth.

Most bots that are reported, don't get banned. In fact, most won't even get in trouble. What makes matters worse is that less than 1% of bots get reported by players. The vast majority of players who bot will not get banned.


For people who use autotypers (which is a lot) If you were to be reported, you would only receive an offensive language report and a 2 day mute. You woudnt even get in trouble for macroing.


Lets face it, botting has become a problem that will only continue to get worse. More players will likely start to bot.

I'm glad to see that Jagex is taking more initiative in cleansing their game. Personally, I have played this game for 7 years and it really makes me smile when I see how much progress this company has made on their masterpiece.

i assure you there is going to be something done. as Jagex does care about fairness. and it is also against the rules to exploit a glitch knowingly. as it is listed under Bug abuse if i'm not mistaken. A lot of bots have been cleared out. and they have almost got them all. i can assure you they are going to handle it. as i have been on runescape a long time and as an experienced member i know they are going to handle the matter firmly.

Lets see: Bots still quite active in the Ancient Cavern,Bots still quite active getting handcannons(with associated ammo) and dragon pickaxes.Bots still quite active at Turoths. Now tell me ...WHAT exactly has been done? I am not seeing an improvement at all.
