Honestly JMods, if you looked to the past, there are less bots than there are now. You guys created an evironment where bots can flourish.

1. You guys made this game easy - if a kid can 99 now within a few weeks, you don't think a bot can? You can freaking buy xp now without even trying these days. bring back the challenge in the game. Start by making the monsters tough and attacking.

2. Stop updating so much - your updates are full of holes. Heck, eoc was the biggest block of swiss cheesed update. You didn't think there were no bots in those beta servers? They probably were ones who said yes on the poles because they already had the script ready to use. Fix the updates you already have out.

3. Make the game more challenging and fix your coding - a large sum of bots and cheats don't have to put in the effort if there's not much of a challenge. Make some of areas harder. And before you throw out an update, actually test and fix its coding. It's not that hard.

at the risk of being flamed here, while bottany bay has been unusually active in the past couple of days (ive almost seen trial after trial at it on world 104) At the end of the day the bots are still around in force. The only thing that has ever really had any significant effect on bots was the trade limit as when that was around it was rarely i saw a bot. (not saying the trade limit is a good thing its the exact opposite in my opinion). maybe the anti bot system is slowly beginning to work but currently its impossible to do some things e.g. certain slayer tasks due to bots...

A little over one year ago around the time of the ClusterFlutter bot nuke, many botters and *some* legit players stated the reason people bot is due to "the grind". As is such, MMG stated back then they were going to make the game easier / less of a grind. (in an effort to get botters to play legit)

Now, botters cheat, and lie, very dishonest people, so they lied when they said it was due to "the grind" as evidenced by the fact that they are still botting after "You guys made this game easy". So, big waste listening to botters. They are lazy liars after all.

@Foxcrystal - Once again, Jagex "listened" to goldfarmers and RWTers who created mass campaigns to manipulate Runescape by posting as "players" on the forums. Why Jagex keeps falling for this is beyond me.

I support, *Limited_Trade* as in have *some* trade limits. Example: Allow players to trade friends up to 10M per day, perhaps more with time.

Who needs to be able to trade 500M to 100 people a day? Not me, not any real RS player. Only goldfarmers need that.

@ Jagex, do not listen to those who say you can't waffle on free trade. They are your enemies. Implement Limited Trade within reason for normal players who follow the rules.

This.... will get rid of thousands of bots which would help you and us greatly, and only hurt Goldfarmers and RWTers.

Thanks Jagex! We need bans like this more regularly, however. Also, I support the xp boosts (in all forms) for the following reasons:
1) Unless all who have exploited or botted their way to fortune and high skill levels are caught, the rest of us will be permanently at a disadvantage.
2) The "grind" does exist, and there are still bots in the game (see Slayer Tower, Grotworm Lair, etc.) There is nothing more irritating than working hard for scraps, because you have to compete with bots for monsters, resources, etc. to get less xp. Jagex needs to continue providing something to lessen the hurt until bots are entirely wiped from this game.

I would prefer to see some xp boosting activities (for all skills) in the game that are bot-proof. The current xp boosting is still accessible to cheaters. I would like to see more random events temporarily to help weed out bots and reward legit players.

i don't see why so many complain? i do not like the huge amount of bots tho, but each time i see one i report, in that way i know i've done something, after that it's up to jagex to make there decision, weither to make more players enjoy the game, or make low lvlers quit after a few months when noticing they can't train a certain skill due to bots camping this particular skill/area.

i myself have never caught a red chinchompa, for example in my runescape playtime(since 2004), there for i do not enjoy this skill fully.
