the idea of the eoc is very nice, good moves etc but the amount of dmg you deal with a high level str range or magic is almost the same as someone who just use a rune 2h rune arrows or fire bolt.
Its just the problem that 4 f2p skilling str mage and rangeis not worth it becouse u deal just the same amount dmg as a low lvled player. The way of calculate Lord Gozer 2 has said is a very nice idea :)

Its not just that people arent enjoying the "update" as much at the moment. This was a very unwanted and unneeded addition to runescape. the update on the look of weapons is okay that was needed but the "balancing of the combat triangle", the action bar, and many other additions is what made this "update" the worst. As far as things go with the separate servers it is do-able all that would be required is a little more work. This "update" was poorly thought out, unwanted, and nothing but a want to compete with World of Warcraft. Sorry JaGex but you say you care about feedback well here's mine.

They don't want a vote because they know they are going to get more negative than positive answers back on the survey. And if I'm wrong JaGex then poll the players and let them decide what happens with the "update". This will get swept under the rug like my other post but oh well maybe they will listen to someone else.

I see both sides of it. The players that miss the old system and Jagex promoting the new.

To be honest both sides care just as much about the game, but I feel both sides also are blind to what the other want to accomplish. Things are being repeated far too much. We need a common ground.

While I do feel a "combat evolution" is needed, I don't feel EoC is the right solution in many ways. I don't like the adrenaline idea. It seems to clash with the concept of abilities in a strange way, this just isn't laid out properly in my opinion. We need a more simplistic layout for it.. something that feels more like the Runescape we just left behind. I think if this can be achieved the players who don't like update might warm up more.

I don't know how exactly it should be done, but I'm confident Jagex will hear us out as they always do and change the game to something we all like. Clearly you've upset a good amount of players, I think you should consider what they have to say instead of giving them the cold shoulder.
