For all you people that are complaining it costs more for the premier club than the actual membership costs think about the extra stuff included such as the spins and runecoins. Also, the costs of the things Jagex has done for us in removing the bots and the new updates in 2013 would be immense. Also, for the betas it says priority access so it doesn't necessarily mean that regular members won't get in.

I don't know if you people with the grandfathered member's rates are really paying only $5 or if you're just saying that for ease, but I am paying $5.95 a month, and with the gold subscription I would only be paying an extra $0.30 per month. So, I'd only be paying an extra $3.55 a year for all those awesome benefits. Sounds like an excellent deal to me. Jagex gets their money faster, and I get more for what I pay for.

Got a question:

Why does it say Gold membership at $74.95 but on the checkout page it says $88.95...?

Now, I can understand that this might be due to some kind of differing currency, but I checked the value of both the British pound and the Euro dollar to my country's dollar and neither match your calculations. So, please explain this to me.

There are 2 levels of 'grandfathered' payments. I don't know about the US prices but in the UK it is £3.20 and £3.50. I pay £3.50 per month normally since I was on a break from RS when the price went up to £3.50.

Shouldn't we ‘Oldies’ (I have a 10 year cape) be put automatically into this club? Or are we ‘Oldies’ yet again left out in the cold.

I dont usually try to ***** about updates when i dont agree with them. I think its kinda childish to do so, but this time its gone too far!
Come on guys! This is starting to get ridiculous! Wasnt SoF and Solomon's response from the fansites and general community enough to prove you that the community is starting to get annoyed with Jagex's every time more ridiculous tries to get a few bucks more enough to make you stop and re-think the company's new directions? Some people are rage-quitting for crying out loud!
Please, start being more considerate for the members. If you think you need a few extra bucks, raise membership a few cents instead of making these ******** packs!
