I have been a faithful member for years.
I have also supported Jagex not only with my monthly membership contribution and recommended ideas but in purchases of spins, as well as Runecoins in Solomon’s General Store.
I will most likely Purchase the Gold Premier Status as well as it does sound like a good deal. Altough I do think that upon completion of that membership it should go back to my current rate of 5.00. If this is a way for Jagex to raise the rates they should just let me know as I think most of us would understand.
On a side note to Jagex... I feel like I am losing touch with you, not sure where we are going with all this. For the first time ever I am forcing myself to log on (to give EOC a chance) vs. looking forward to my play time.
Not trying to complain here, just voicing my opinion. I think you could have the best of both worlds, as old pvp was a large part of the game.

To be honest this really angers me.

I have 6 years unbroken membership on this account alone and I also pay for another account on and off. I would have thought the loyalty of the members who have stayed meant more to you than someone else's fresh wallet.

You're offering exclusivity to future beta content, to players who can cough up 1 lump sum within the coming month. That really stinks! There's people like myself who have an unbroken track record with membership and you're basically saying that our money isn't good enough.

At the moment if I bought the gold premium package I would be paying an extra £7 per year, it's not an amazing amount but it's still more than what I'm currently paying now and there's no guarantee that I would go back to £3.20 after the 12 months.

10% Discount on Solomons? Well I thought members were supposed to get that anyway. You're taking things away from members too.

I think its absolutely disgusting.

Also you said that you would never add anything to solomons which would affect your in game character. As far as I'm aware, the new pets actually help you in game. Thus you broke your word.

I'm getting increasingly frustrated at seeing the weekly adverts for something cash related to runescape. One of the main things which set runescape aside from other games was the fact that it only had 1 set membership fee with no hidden costs and nothing to buy in game.

Now cosmetic items I don't mind, within reason. But I'm feeling like anything and everything I want costume wise is only ever going to be available on solomons so it leaves me not even wanting to bother making a suggestion about a costume I would like to see because you would only make me try and pay for it anyway.

I really don't like money make schemes being pushed in my face. It pushes me away from games and I'm certainly looking towards finding other games to play which don't have those kind of game ethics even if it means playing by myself.

Jagex, you greedy little... You actually release a decent looking set of armour..but it costs $ 75.

Remember when Jagex was against RWT? Good days, now they enforce it.

Focus on your current players, Jagex. If you don't and keep up this crap, you will lose them all...and it's not a good feeling to lose everything, but it basically looks like you're trying very hard at that, Merry Christmas, hope you have fun bathing in your guilty pile of money.
