PLEASE JAGEX, ANSWER THIS, THIS MAY MAKE YOU LIKE 75 DOLLARS....
Jagex, I'm from Brazil and I don't have an international credit card, so I can't buy it by Paypal either, if I buy the 12 Months package from levelup (The company that owns RS in Brazil, will I get all these benefits? If so, I'm buying it, if not, well... That's a shame...
You can be f2p and just set your membership to reoccurring, and then you'd be "Reoccurring" wanting everything for free.
I don't know how it works but im guessing it'd be hard for jagex to just know whos been a member for that long.
As under my avatar, it says Feb 2011, because i stopped membership for about 1-2 weeks i believe.
If Jagex did give benefits to people who reoccurred for 5 years etc, look how bad that'd be on me just because i stopped on 1-2 weeks. Doesn't make me less loyal.
The packages are for everyone, and not give benefits to those who have 2005-2007 under their name for example.

"They aren't locking you out Isao, they just give to those who pay. You have to understand Jagex is part investment company."
The fact that they're giving beta access to those who pay is precisely why I think the beta access on this deal is ridiculous. They should give beta access to people who actually give constructive criticism (from all levels, so that there's feedback from all ranges of players).
And Jagex being an investment company is precisely what I dislike. Ever since they sold the majority of shares to investment companies the focus has been on short-term to mid-term money grabbing, rather than long-term focus by investing in actual proper game content. I'm not saying that selling cosmetic items is a bad thing, I just think they focus on them too much simply because they give a high return in the short run.
this update is a good update but it sucks because you dont get the items they sell threw the runescape cards and if they sell say 20 items a year at 25$+ to renew the package your wasting more money than saving.
@Kossith: I said (or at least meant) recurring member, not reOcurring. Aka, being member non-stop never lapsing more than 2 weeks, as defined in their grandfathering scheme. And like I said in my previous post, I'm well aware that the act of being member does not make you loyal.
Also, you seem to be twisting my words. I never even hinted at the packages being ONLY for 'loyal' members. I merely said that the price reduction they have on their recurring membership should also apply to all packages involving membership. I'm not even saying this for myself, because I'll stick to recurring no matter what, I like the flexibility.
