jagex changed 2 fundamental things in the game that everyone loved
1st the combat system was good i liked the old system very much it was not complicated it was just smash and bash and it was in essence runescape
2nd the combat levels were changed also a fundamental thing in runescape that everyone liked people are training prayer and sum (or have) in order to get a high combat level only to find them selves being the same as some noob now (great way to scare away old members).
instead of spendign hundreds of thousands of pounds of making eoc (which no one asked for) they should have spend that money fighting bots but instead of that we now have a recruite a bot program..
all in all i have this feeling that the peopel who run runescape now are totally unaware of what we (the players) want in this game, we are gettign updates no one really likes and things that need to be addressed are simply not addressed..
i give this game at best 2 more years of life and after that its gone! if i was working at jagex i would start finding a other job because any fool can see this is heading in the wrong direction you dont need to be einstein to see this!!
personally for me, iv been here 8 years i have seen it all in this game, iv seen the good the bad and the ugly but what iam now seeing is beyound ugly runescape is turning into a commercialized piece of chip, and the price of members went up for the same money you can be playing WOW (almost) which is by far supirior!
also people who pay using euro are still being ripped off by jagex because the price in euro and dollar is the same whilst the dollar is a lot weaker so if you pay with euro you pay 30%-40% more then a person paying with dollar..
all in all these are the last twiches of a dying animal..
