So bots can now sell a levelling up services to players without needing that persons login details, a massive part of why some players wouldn't buy xp, without making the bot do anything different.....great job 0_o

Does anyone at Jagex really think anyone will actually recruit a new person, when it seems like all this is good for is buying one month's membership on a noob account, and getting one month free on our mains, plus the bonus xp?

Well you'd have to actually play on the second account for your main account to benefit at all - which doesn't make sense as you'd effectively just be training for 10% of the normal XP!

You sir are talking BS or you don't understand what's being asked O_o
(i guess it's the BS bit tho because that's what your paid to do)

You only only recruit the same account once so you'd have to keep making new accounts which doesn't really make much sense!


Of course it makes perfect sense to make a LOAD of botting accounts so u get the free 30 day's plus the 10%/20%+ when the bot is ruing & then just play the main in a legit way :| (but you guy's all ready know this, your a paid lier!)

You might as well start selling gp. Since this company is all about money now, Why take small steps and come out with squeal of forrtune,the Solomons store now this? Why not start selling gp instead? I mean, since money is all you care about think about how much money you would make by selling gp? its common sense isn't it? Ot what is your brain that of a 8 year old? Why spent time on crappy updates like this when you can probably make like $50,000 a day if you sell gp. Think about all the kids that say they get hacked and loose 100m. They can easily buy the 100m off of this site for what $100? maybe $200 no problem

NOT SAYING I WOULD SUPPORT IT IF THEY DID, BUT SINCE MONEY IS WHAT THEY WANT WHY NOT GET IT THE BEST WAY?

then i see a high level of risk people will start botting or am i wrong? isnt this inviting people to start bottign without fear of getting caught, you can level up 2 characters using a macro but only 1 runs the risk of getting caught!..

you invite a "friend" using a diffrent ip/mac address that friend will start botting and thus earn xp for both + 30 days of free membership and if the botter gets caught then you still will recieve 10% of whatever he has botted + your 30 days free members..

or am i wrong? am i the only one that sees this is not a great idea. come to think of it i find it a bit desperate ,runescape became big by it self peopel just invited others to come join them and thus have fun together ingame no reward was ever needed to "lure" new players yet some how this has changed cause it is no longer a people game but a bot/gamble game..

all in all, the potentiol for cheating is high ,its a incentive to start botting if you ask me, and it looks like jagex is despertly trying to recruite "lure"new potentiol players..

just my 2 cents bad idea all round..

this whole game is going in a bad direction
1. the selling of goods using squeel of fortune
2. failing to exterminate bots
3. faliing to put a end to gambling in a kids game
4. the lack of players who actual still play rs as intended (actual skill) players now are lazy they want everyting 99 in under a week + have 1b in the bank in a day.
5. selling items for real money in solomons shop, instead of having work and earn gold to buy nice items (where is the honour in just buying **** for real money)
6. giving players a incentive to start cheating by giving away xp bonus and free members for new recruitements/players who get lured into the game..

this whole game is going in a super commerilized something and heading in a very bad direction

It's like cake.
It's fine in small amounts, but shoving it down our throats makes us vomit.
Especially when we don't like cake.

If you really want people to pay for your game, get rid of the bots, interact with the players about 9001 times more often than you do, and make the game harder.

You were on a good roll Jagex, PoP, EoC, limited SoF updates, and now...
this.

It didn't need fixing, the only fixing I can think of is removal.
Not like the original idea got any sort of player support.
