If you want to give items away, why don't you start by taking care of people that are being hacked?! I have friends that have quit the game for 3-6 months and come back to find their accounts have been hacked. It is sad the longest security you can give our accounts is up to one week with a bank pin. This game is over 10 years old and that is the best you can do for us?
PLAYER SECURITY is an update I think we have all been waiting on.
Stop playing with goblins and we the players can provide those skill supplies if you get rid of bots and make the appropriate updates.

OMG becky, look at jagex go! Fail! Well its very obvious that you guy are really in need of cash....in my opinion sof is the worst update in rs history, not counting bringing free trade back but thats old news. Lets get on this! I mean wth? the games being made way to easy for newf's, why don't you just delete all the players and go jump off a bride? The game is going to hell anyways so why not...

still wont get nothing... ino it my own fault but gets addicting :p gamblin in a way
ive spent almost/maybe over £60 on spins (2 lots of 10+10bonus/ a 35+35bonus/a 100+100bonus)and never had ne thing better thn a rune platebody and then again with all thm spins together had like 3 rune plates

Flat out people, Runescape's economy is already ruined. New players can't make jack from playing, unless by botting and avoiding the countless hours of sheer repetetive boredom. Only those who already have the levels and can do all the boss fights are making any real money in the game. Look at how many people are running around with Godswords and beyond dragon armors. I've been here for years, and I only play out of habit. All the goals to reach a higher level and be able to make something to make money? Pointless. Absolutely nothing to do with an accomplished skill is worth the effort now. Short of resetting the bot accounts as they are caught, and strippping a ton of existing items out of the game, there is no saving the economy. So please stop griping about it.
Maybe these changes will at least make SoF feel a little worthwhile now. Maybe it will still just be aggravating and annoying. At least the 50 coins are gone.

@all sof haters: first of all sof is here to stay. you are playing A GAME (its is not your life) that is run by a COMPANY. NOT a bunch of nice dudes like James and Simon(Runeshark video dudes) Companies target $$$ before anything. i agree jagex is doing that more nowadays but get over it. if you h8 sof GTFO and go TRY to find some game that does not have microtransactions. and secondly only COMPLETE addicts will spend a ton of money on A CHANCE to get good stuff. the sof benefits dont affect you that much anyways. so quit your complaints because they wont change anything. OR get used to it and play!
@all sof lovers: you guys can keep doing what you are doing just remember the money you use on spins could be used on REAL WORLD (the place where everything happens) stuff that is actually worth something. because 1$=100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000m. because the game isnt real.
@Jagex: i h8 sof quite a bit and it is very annoying. but it's easy to understand what you are doing. the cash you all are getting goes back into the game in the end. but i would like to see REAL content updates and not much more of sof because im fed up with it now.
@the new update: at least now i wont have to put up with the constant 50gp when i do my DAILY spins. but now if some no life dude buys like 100$ worth of spins its is like selling hm some gold. but the CHANCE to get cash hasn't been increased so thats not too bad. still. and @somegys who said that he got enough cash for a santa from sof. that is completely impossible with the rarity of the 10m prize so yah. and getting 50gp for it would take more time than sof has been around. heck using the 50gp it will take you forever to get claws or bcp or sgs so dont complain. now sof wont be so annoying which is another reason it isnt hated.
Why complaining wont get you anywhere: this is not a democracy. companies wont listen to you all. companies are dictatorships and they always will be. Think before posting, and if you can't think then don't post.

Cmon guys why do you actually care that much the percentage for getting a good item is 1/10000000000M i would say be happy that jagex is not leting the sof down like other games do they actually try to let us enjoy the game and to give us a chance if you get lucky to rebuild your bank after you get cleaned.
