Man, everytime I see one of these updates I can't help but feel dissapointed. I know it's dumb to care, but it's just sad to see a game and company that I used to respect resort to begging for subscriptions with the promise of XP and items instead of interesting content. It's becoming almost too obvious that none of the staff actually play the game that their slowly but surely ruining. Sadly it seems that all signs are pointing to the downfall of this once promising company and ignoring the very people who currently play their game will be worst decision they could make. Every week there is a new money making scheme posted on the top of the front page and little to no content. Every update further upsets and devalues the veteran players who are the only reason they still exist. Not far from the half the population at any given time are botting, effectively making the highscores and competition a complete joke (It's a mystery to me how a company could decide that a solution to this is not a number 1 priority) On top of this, reviews from former employees reveal how dysfunctional the company truly is. If this game can even still be saved, something will have to be done quick, and I would suggest starting by listening to the people who actually play your game. I'm certain that there are members of Jagex out there that realize this at some level and if just a few of them had the courage to stand up to the ignorant fantasies of Mark Gerhard and his upper management crew, they could save the game as well as their company.
