You know jagex you should have made the aura more clear and ive seen nothing about it anywhere. There is a limit within that 30 minutes of double exp. You can use all your double exp up before those 30 minutes are up. Quite bummed by it but overall i like the bonus anyways. Keep the events going. :)

I quite honestly don't understand why they didn't explicitly state this in the news post.

After this update, of many similar, I've felt inspired to share my thoughts on the accumulation of Jagex give-away experience. Now I'm all for bonus experience, and after first few releases I was like, 'Hey bonus experience, this will be good for <insert skill>.' However, when is it too much? It seems 99 announcements happen all the time now and max/complete are a common occurrence. Seems it won't be long til it only takes a few months for a new player to get completionist capes at the rate Jagex is going. So here it goes:

-Random exp lamps (these were the innocent, small start of it, 870 exp to agility? Meh)
-Bonus experience weekends (good lord we've abused these to no end, and they are getting worse)
-Distractions and Diversions (there are far, far too many to list individually now)
-Effigies (although they have drastically lowered the drop rate, thankfully)
-Jack of Trades aura (loyalty shop)
-SoF lamps (buyable)
-SoF pendants (buyable)
-SoF goodie boxes (buyable, instant resources)
-Various bonus experience events (like this one)

I'm sure there are more, this is just an example. Most of these take little to no effort and reward a good hefty chunk of experience. Looking at it overall, is there even any need to train for reals? It just seems that this is becoming a game that requires no work to achieve greatness. Where is the satisfaction in that? What ever happened to earning achievements and people respecting you for that? There was a time in the past that capes meant something.

Just some thoughts. I'm feeling chatty tonight for some reason.

This game is gettig easier every New this type of update. This meens no inspiration and due to this the Runescape game losing its value, As the geme is not chalanging anymore I am sorry to say but this game is falling apart.

By putting different Tricks for making us pay more meking it even worse!!
Make this game just a bit Harder and there will be increase in players. More profit for you this way.

@essling. Just stop it. we all know you work for jagex. Isnt it a little pathetic that you have to comment on every topic kissing your own ass? geez just because 90% of feedback is negative doesnt mean you have to pretend to be part of the community and pat your own self on the back. In the words of a great bounty hunter, "You are a sad strange little man"

OT: double loot plus 1/2 economy = 1/4 economy. Hooray, keep breaking the game
