The problem mr mod freaking mike is that u dont reply to the other "relevant forums". have u read the combat discussion forums?, over 12k posts and no reply as of yet, yet u reply twice here in 2 pages. Hypocrite, stop hiding like a coward and go respond to the other forum posts with over 1.2k pages each and no replies.
EoC fails, bring back rs2. Admit your mistake.

And that's one of the reasons you will NEVER be heard or anyone who has a proper opinion would be, because you bring drama. You're ruining the voice of others due to your lack of respect. If ignorance were bliss, you'd be in paradise. You all want immediate results, Jagex owes you nothing. It's like complaining about a rollarcoaster because you didn't like a direction it took. Grow up.

dwarvenlied, actually jagex does owe us something, a response is the least atm, since im a customer with 4 member accounts and 2 of which expire in february, and sicne im no longer going to be playing i'd say iw asted my money and am a dissatisfied customer because this update was shoved down our throats whether we liked it or not. Secondly, who asked for any results immediately? Or maybe u didnt even bother reading a few of the previous posts, this whole thread turned into an EoC hate thread because none of the mods are replying to the other EoC discussion threads with 12k+ posts, i'd say that is poor customer service when a mod replies 2 time sin 2 pages here and then stops replying the moment i post my message for him to reply to the other thread about EoC. As someone pointed out in the EoC discussion forums, Jagex policy binds them to respond to us at some reasonable point, and by the EoC thread, i'd say a good amount of reasonable time has passed with no reply, hence jagex is disregarding their own policy, and as customers some even might make a point to sue not for lack of replies but for other purposes stated in the other threads. Go read.

Honestly, it's just a game..change happens. This is the direction Jagex chose and they're not going back on something they a lot of time developing for their player base. From a business stand point this sort of engine is something that appeals to majority of players and they're trying to bring new meat in the seats to keep the game going and to maximize profit. The Runescape we knew and loved is no more.
At this point the choice is yours, adapt and accept the change or find something that appeals to you. If you're not satisfied with the customer service or the direction of the game perhaps you should look for satisfaction elsewhere. There's nothing that Jagex would be willing to do to undo their hard work for a few thousand players. Because this update will replace those numbers..just look at all of the heavy advertising campaigns Jagex does for it's players. (I.E SoF items, Solomon's, BxP, Book of Faces, etc.)

I don't mean to sound condescending but there's nothing anyone can do at this point, quitting would be your only option if you dislike the direction of Runescape that much.
It's honestly not that bad, granted it threw the economy into turmoil and has upset many people's comfortable play style. But, change is what keeps companys and legacys alive. Adaptability and versatility are what makes businesses survive in this tough economy and market.

we fight for the things we love and care for, hence i will continue to fight for it..:p
and trust me, its not the majority who like it, if it was and is, i dare jagex to make a poll on the front page for old combat system and new EoC and we can see who is right. But yeah, i already have cancelled 4 memberships, but 2 accounts have yet to expire on february, but im still not logging in on them since most of my friends have quit and i no longer even have a reason to be in the lobby to chat. Oh and u really should head over to the EoC discussion forums and read a few of the posts to see how many people are up*set about it. Granted u believe nothing can be done, and honestly i think ure right, but hey u neva know...:p
neva underestimate the power of unsatisfied customers haha
P.S A good indication of upset customers is the number of people online everyday since the EoC update.

Why the F would this be the item. These milestones accomplishments, 1m likes on FB and 200m 'players, get these ridiculous in-game items.

Just pitiful, even if its supposed to be a joke item. It cant be that hard to think of something slightly better than the frigid most obvious joke

World of Warcraft for 4 years...EVE Online for 1. And multiple others. Yeah, i've OBVIOUSLY never spent time on any other MMO's. Runescape pretty much launched my interest in the mmo area of gaming back in 04. I do genuinely think EoC is a massive improvement on RS. It can be touched up of course, it was just released it's not perfect. But it's a step in the right direction.

Do you even know how long it took lol? No more than half an hour, I logged back in when there were 20k online an they were mostly bots.
