irlsh coffee, the 50,000 will be chosen from the most active players, but I think we can define "Active player" in several ways. If you want to get a chance, just be active.
Beside that, I guess yes, the lucky active players will be randomly chosen.

hmm i started in 2004 and was a consecutive member all the way until not very long ago, then my credit card had a few flaws for a month and i could be a member so i missed out 1 month and now iv not been a member for 12 months. Jagex screwed me =(
