No it's been rebalanced to make it more worthwhile to go through to the end.

The Shadow Reef

The dungeon is now split into three different zones.

Zone 1 (from the start until you jump down the cliff after the first boss):
- The drop table is bare bones and has been greatly reduced from the current live drop table.
- Combat XP has been reduced by a large margin.

Zone 2 (from the end of Zone 1 until you jump down the cliff after the second boss):
- Remains the same as the current live loot table.

Zone 3 (the rest of the dungeon):
- Has an improved loot table compared to the current live loot table.
- All three bosses have had their common loot tables buffed to compensate for the reduction in drop value from Zone 1.

Oh my, that is a pretty big change but I guess that forces me to learn full runs haha
