Have you read about this new 'botany bay' thing they're releasing this month, whoever came up with the idea should be promoted.

I like the idea of a place where bot accounts are perm banned infront of a live crowd, but there's one thing I'm not sure about.

If the game catches someone botting, that account will get teleported to the island, get executed, party hard etc etc.

But what about accounts that have botted immense amounts of exp before the update goes live? Will they eventually get teleported to the island too, or will they just get instantly perm banned/stat reset? And if they do get teleported there when they're not currently botting, can't they just log out of the game before the execution?

I hope Jagex is thinking everything through. But the important thing is of course, JUSTICE! The memes, Jack.

I would assume if they try to log out, their avatar will simply remain in game, kinda like if you close your browser whilst in combat.

Also, I think that basically every bot that gets caught once the update goes live will end up in the bay, regardless of XP earned.
